We are super mondo jealous of all the college bloggers who have their spring break this week! Our spring break was last week but can we just say that one week is just not enough?! Its back to the grind for us and with midterms and papers this week, we CANNOT wait for it to be over!!
On Saturday, to prepare us for the week ahead, we started it off right with some Green Monsters:
In Bella Lena’s she threw in
1/2 Zucchini
Handful of Frozen Spinach
1/2 Orange
1/4 Apple
Almond Milk
In Bella Christina’s:
1/2 Banana
Handful of Baby Spinach
Wheat Germ
Orange Juice
These Fresh Green Smoothies made our Bella minds revved up and ready to rock the town…aka the inside of a library for 5 hours…
2 more months of Junior Year…craziness! We’re ready to make it a fantasmic last two months though…and with weather like the one we’re having all week (high 50′s! you rock mother nature!) who isn’t ready for summer?!
Ok my foodies rock our world with your Green Monster Recipes and Tips…we’d love to hear em! We really want to get some Green Formula Powders to add to our smoothies. Anyone have any suggestions on a AFFORDABLE one? Just something to increase the greens (not protein powders and such).
Both these Bellas had a fun filled morning of exam taking! Then after 2 hours of running errands, we were ready for a pick-me up. And what better excuse than to go to Whole Foods for the second time in the past 4 days? Some majorly good eats were picked up but the major delicious fabness that was the highlight of this trip? WHOLE FOODS HOTBAR! Keeping on a college budget, going out for lunch is not usual here in the Bella land but with the morning we had, and the tantalizing aromas fighting our growling stomachs…food was to be had:

Why is it that no matter what you put into these brown recycled Whole Foods Containers, the mix just works? Can’t tell what’s in our meal? Well we probably couldn’t remember enough to tell you but trust us- they were vegan mounds of blissful ecstasy. At $7.99 a pound, definitely not a regular lunch, but a treat for sure!
Whole Foods Shopping trip= Successful! The eats and groceries created a euphoria in us and woke us up from our doldrums. We even decided to be good students and ventured off to the classes we had intended to blow off. Aren’t you proud of us Bellas?

haha SO on point that anything you put in a WF brown box automatically blends into deliciousness!
You guys must have a vitamix to blend up apples and zucchini!!
